Tom brings more than 20 years of consulting and business leadership experience to his client work and is highly valued for the unique set of perspectives he brings to client issues.

He has extensive global consulting experience having deployed to both short-term and long-term assignments in North America, Central America, South America, Europe (including Scandinavia), the Middle East, China, Asia/Pac and Australia.

Tom works with CEOs and other executives for individual and team coaching as well as organizational assessment and advisory services in leadership development, strategic planning, talent development, change management, succession planning, M&A and organizational design.

Leadership Experience

Previous leadership positions include a role as SVP and practice leader for leadership and talent management with a global human capital consulting firm. While there he led national and global relationship teams and served as a thought leader, business developer and executive consultant.

Tom also served as the managing director for the Miller Howard Consulting Group, a boutique consulting firm with a global client roster. In addition, he served as a senior consultant at Towers Perrin in the Strategy and Change practice area.

Prior to his career as a consultant, Tom worked in the financial industry as the group vice president and leader of corporate banking for a multi-billion dollar bank. He successfully led a group of corporate account officers with a loan and commitment portfolio of over a billion dollars, in addition to significant cash management relationships. Tom’s first career was as a psychologist and psychotherapist, specializing in group and systems dynamics. In the military he led a tactical nuclear missile strike unit.

Tom lives with his wife and son in Atlanta.

Education

Tom earned an MBA at the Emory University Goizueta School of Business. After earning a MS in Psychology, he studied Clinical Psychology in the Doctoral Program at Georgia State University.
