Lisa Walker is a psychologist, organizational consultant, executive coach and neuroleadership specialist working closely with corporate leaders to help them grow strategically and tactfully from both a personal and organizational perspective. Through a powerful partnership of coaching, consulting, advising and facilitation, Lisa empowers leaders and organizations to develop agile, engaged and high-performing individuals and teams able to manage growth, embrace change and expand performance.
Dr. Walker is an expert in helping leaders develop and harness executive presence and leadership agility. Lisa draws on her decade and half years’ experience as a collaborative facilitator, working with leaders in complex business and relationship matters. She is an advanced level mediator and facilitator, who is tapped by leaders and organizations to help navigate challenging people issues. She creates and delivers customized leadership development programs; including coaching engagements, workshops, and retreats that help leaders and their teams build new knowledge and tools to improve communication, especially if trust or collaboration among teams or among team members needs to be built.
Lisa regularly consults in a number of leadership development areas, including personal executive effectiveness, executive presence; executive transition; inspirational leadership; optimizing interpersonal and relational skills; leading and developing teams; building trust; leveraging conflict, and sharpening the leadership skills of high potential individuals.
Lisa enjoys helping her clients expand their awareness, articulate a clear vision of the future, build positive work relationships and work climates, maximize their success and excel at work and life.
Education and Affiliations
Lisa holds a doctorate in psychology from the University of Texas Austin, she is a Columbia University Certified Executive Coach, as well as a Marshall Goldsmith Certified Behavioral Coach (individual and team). She served on the faculty at the University of Texas at Austin, in the Department of Human Development and currently serves as a mentor at the IC2 Institute at the University of Texas at Austin.
Before her work as a leadership development consultant, Lisa practiced as a psychologist, specializing in Collaborative Law and complex high conflict matters for individuals and organizations. She is an advanced level mediator and facilitator. Lisa is certified to administer and interpret a number of leadership assessment tools including; MBTI, Hogan, Berkman, EQi, Neethling Brain Instrument (NBI) and Total SDI.
